With the support and dedication of volunteers, we can continue to provide programs and services to promote well-being, independence, involvement in their community and the ability for them to stay in their own home. Volunteers are needed a few hours a day, once a week. Our seniors need you. FRONT DESK VOLUNTEERS
I
nteract with participants at The Connection. Reception and customer service skills are used. Answers phones, greet clients and assist with varies office duties. Volunteers are needed in the morning (8:30-12) or afternoon (12-4) shifts available. We thank our current Office Volunteers Jean S, Ruth M, Janet C and Donna B.

KITCHEN SERVERS
Would you enjoy mingling, serving and eating a nutritious meal? We are in REAL NEED of volunteers to help us set the tables, serve lunch and clear tables at The Connection. Kitchen servers are needed 10:00a-12:15p, Monday through Friday. Please call NWDSS at 767-3757 X 0 and talk with Candy or Cindy.

OFFICE CLEANING 
A volunteer is needed to assist in cleaning the offices each week. Duties would include vacuum carpets, clean entry floor and bathrooms. Other cleaning as needed. If you have an hour each week.

PEER SUPPORT/ELDER FRIENDS
Looking for a volunteer opportunity that will warm your heart? The Elder Friends, a Peer Support program is for you!
Peer Support/Elder Friends provide one-on-one matches. They include a great variety of opportunities, anything from simply being a phone buddy, to providing in-home companionship, to helping with minor household tasks, to going to lunch, to putting together a puzzle or viewing a movie together. The possibilities are endless, unique and exist throughout Northwest Dane County. If you would like to be an Elder Friend, please call Candy. If you know someone who could use special support, please contact our Case Manager, Deanna Topper at 767-3757 X 223.

PHOTOGRAPHY
A volunteer is needed to take photographs of our events and birthday celebration each month and submit photos for the website and newsletter. Monthly commitment of a few hours. Dates are available in advance. 

RSVP Driver Escort
Duties: Drive seniors to and from medically related and/or medical appointments. Must be 18 with a valid drivers license and reliable transportation. Commitment: Varies, based on your availability and the needs or our seniors, prefer a 6-month commitment.
