With the support and dedication of volunteers, we can continue to provide programs and services to promote well-being, independence, involvement in their community and the ability for them to stay in their own home. Volunteers are needed a few hours a day, once a week. Our seniors need you.

PHOTOGRAPHY
A volunteer is needed to take photographs of our events and birthday celebration each month and submit photos for the website and newsletter. Monthly commitment of a few hours. Dates are available in advance. 

BOARD SECRETARY ASSISTANT
Our board secretary needs your assistance. A reliable volunteer is need to sit in on the monthly board meeting and take minutes of the meeting. You must be detailed oriented and accurate to details. Must be a good listener and dependable. Board meetings are held the last Tuesday of each month. Meetings last aproximately 2 hours.

Fundraising Assistant/Special Events
Duties: Assist Event Coordinator and/or staff prior to or at an event, good interpersonal skills and ability to be a team player, positive attitude, process and follow direction, punctual and commitment to the mission of Northwest Dane Senior Services. Commitment: Varies from 1 day to a few weeks, a few hours a week depending on the event.

Activity Assistant
Duties: Attend monthly planning meetings, decorating the activity center, plan parties and events off-site, assist in making reservations for events, assist with annual development survey, and other duties as directed by the Activity Coordinator/Executive Director. Commitment: 1-2 hours a month or as needed, prefer a 1-year commitment.

RSVP Driver Escort
Duties: Drive seniors to and from medically related and/or medical appointments. Must be 18 with a valid drivers license and reliable transportation. Commitment: Varies, based on your availability and the needs or our seniors, prefer a 6-month commitment.

NWDSS Board of Directors
We are looking for individuals to volunteer to be a board member of Northwest Dane Senior Services, Inc. Time commitment is one board meeting per month. If you are on a committee, meeting will vary from every three months or as need occurs. Terms of office are 2 and 3 years. If you live or work in our service area, you are eligible. 5% of our members can live outside our service area. Appointments typically occur in April.
