CONCERTS in the PARK - BLACK EARTH
This year the Black Earth Chamber has decided all donation received Tuesday evenings at the park will be given to Northwest Dane Senior Services. We are very excited for this great opportunity given and deeply appreciate the Black Earth Chamber and community members for their generosity! Representatives from NWDSS will be present at the Concerts in the Park collecting donations and answering any question you may have. Stop by enjoy the sounds of Concerts in the Park and visit us. BRAT FRY's at THE SHOE BOX
Hungry for a Brat? NWDSS has scheduled Brat Fry's at The Shoe Box from 10:00am to 4:00pm on the following dates; Friday, July 16 and August 20. Please come see and us and enjoy a fresh, juicy, hot brat!

SUMMER SOLSTICE 2010
Was held at the Roxbury Tavern on June 20. Thank you to all that attended and donated to this event and NWDSSS. This year's sponsors include Heartland Country Village, Girlies Manor, State Farm Insurance~Jim Dietzens's Offices, Willow Creek Pork and Simply Manufacturing. Donations from Black Earth Meats, Lake Louie Brewery, and Richardson Sanitation.Thrivent Financial will also supplement funds. Please check back at a later time for updated information.

RECYCLE YOUR OLD CELL PHONES!
Wondering what to do with your old cell phone? Bring it to NWDSS or drop it off at the drop box located at the Black Earth State Bank. The National Coalition of Aging has developed a way for the National Institute of Senior Centers to collect used cell phones for fundraising by partnering with Cellular Recycler.  Ninety percent of our proceeds go to our Senior Center. Please recycle your cell phone with us.

SIMPLIFIED SCRIPT ~ REMINDER
A fundraiser is being offered to NWDSS from Simplified Script. They are offering you the opportunity to purchase gift cards at face value from many of your favorite stores, while the merchants donate money to our agency!  Please share this information with friends and family!  Purchase gift cards as Birthdays, Engagements, Weddings, Anniversary, Graduation or Thank You gifts or for yourself when you make your regular purchases.
