CAREVAN BUS SERVICES
Door-to-door service is available for all events of NWDSS. All pick ups for nutrition and shopping are door to door. Pick-ups for trips are at a designated location. A minimum of 3 people must be met for trips into Madison and Baraboo. Any requests for last minute stops when the bus is out for a scheduled trip will be up to the discretion of the driver.
Rates: (All rate are round trip)
In town - $1.00 cents (Nutrition, NWDSS Service Area)
Shopping in area $2.00 (CP, BE, and Mt Horeb)
Shopping out of town $3.00 (Madison & Baraboo)
Dinning Out (BE) $2.00
Dinning Out (all other) $3.00
No one will be denied service for inability to pay. CareVan Bus Service is owned and operated by Kenny & Kristi Schulenberg, Mt Horeb WI.
TRANSPORTATION
RSVP volunteer drivers give rides for medical and medically related appointments in Dane County on a donation basis to RSVP. Requests require a 3 day notice. CareVan Bus is also available to our area older adults 60 and over for a very low cost. This service provides rides to the Nutrition Site, shopping, and social events. Call NWDSS at 767-3757 x 0 to schedule a ride.
